Two men who witnesses say look remarkably similar are being sought in the fatal Sept. 27 shooting of a woman at a Colorado Springs apartment complex.

Both men are described as being in their 30s, bald, with unshaven appearances and sunken faces.

Colorado Springs police say the victim, Susana Pelayo Perez, was shot to death while seated in a car in the parking lot of the Shannon Glen Apartments in the 200 block of North Murray Boulevard.

According to witnesses, the suspect who fired the fatal shot was seated in the right-front passenger seat of a vehicle thought to be a red Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited.

The driver was wearing a plaid, primarily red and black, long-sleeve sweatshirt with a hood. The passenger who fired the weapon was wearing a light-brown long-sleeve sweatshirt.

People with information regarding the shooting suspects and the vehicle are asked to call the Colorado Springs Police Department at 719-444-7000. Anonymous tips can be phoned in at the Pikes Peak Area Crime Stoppers at 719-634-7867.
