OMAHA — Police officers with assault rifles and dogs were going door to door in north Omaha on Sunday, searching for whoever shot a man found lying in the street. Residents reported hearing gunshots about 3:10 p.m. Sunday. The man was found with a chest wound and died at a hospital.
