BOULDER, Colo.—Five Colorado Albertsons stores will close because of poor performance.
Albertsons spokeswoman Christine Wilcox says the stores will be closing at 4 p.m. Saturday or when supplies run out. The stores are located in Denver, Lafayette, Longmont, Arvada and Greenwood Village.
No special promotions are planned for the last day.
Wilcox says about 350 workers are employed at the five stores. She says some employees have been offered jobs at other Denver stores but she did not know how many workers were made that offer.
