A woman is dead and a man injured after a double stabbing Sunday at an apartment complex in Jefferson County.
Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies responded to a call at The Dakota at Governor’s Ranch in the 9000 block of West Cross Drive about 9:30 a.m. Their names were not been released.
The woman was resuscitated by emergency crews in the apartment but died later at a hospital. The man’s injuries were not life-threatening, according to a statement from the Sheriff’s Office.
“At this time, the Sheriff’s Office has no indication of any third party involvement,” said the statement. “Investigators are talking with neighbors and relatives in order to determine what led up to the death.”
