DENVER—The holiday travel lines are long but moving at Denver International Airport.

The airport is expecting its second-busiest Thanksgiving week ever with more than 960,000 fliers expected through Monday.

Sunday is set to be the heaviest travel day, followed by Wednesday, when 150,000 passengers are expected to pass through. The crowds are thick at the airport but so far no major delays have been reported. And fliers seem to be in good spirits.

The busiest Thanksgiving week at DIA was in 2006, when more than 966,000 fliers passed through.
