ANAHEIM, Calif. — Demontez Stitt made two free throws with 3.3 seconds remaining to give Clemson a victory over Butler in the 76 Classic.

“I like having the ball in my hands at the end of the game,” Stitt said.

Trevor Booker also blocked a shot and deflected an inbounds pass in the final second for the Tigers (6-1). Booker finished with 12 points and eight rebounds, and Andre Young added 12 points.

Gordon Hayward had season highs of 18 points and 12 rebounds for the Bulldogs (4-2). Shelvin Mack added 15 points, eight rebounds and four assists.

HOUSTON — The Longhorns led by 17 points early in the second half before the Owls rallied to get within 59-54 with just less than seven minutes to play.

ORLANDO, Fla. — JaMychal Green scored 20 points, including a go- ahead dunk with five seconds to play, at the Old Spice Classic.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Buckeyes used a 15-0 run to take a 60-47 lead in the final of the Buckeye Classic.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Florida State was trailing by five in the middle of the second period when Christian Hunnicutt keyed a 16-0 run, scoring 10 points in a four-minute span.
