BOULDER, Colo.—Colorado football coach Dan Hawkins says junior center Keenan Stevens has been placed on scholarship, after starting nine games for the Buffaloes this year.
Stevens was a walk-on in 2006 as a true freshman but redshirted. He played in one game in 2007 and did not play as a sophomore. This season, he played in 11 games, nine of which he started.
Hawkins also announced Friday that four walk-ons would not be returning. They are junior placekicker Ryan Aweida, sophomore defensive end Kevin Cooney, freshman tailback Trevor LaBarge and freshman quarterback Jerry Slota.
