A 23-year-old homeless man arrested Dec. 2 on suspicion of stabbing an 18-year-old transient outside the Boulder library was arrested again Thursday on suspicion of assaulting another transient to steal a bottle of vodka, according to Boulder police.
Gregory Reed now faces new third-degree assault and resisting arrest charges after police were called to the RTD station at 14th and Walnut streets about 4:10 p.m. Thursday on a report of a robbery, said police spokeswoman Sarah Huntley.
When officers arrived, Reed began fighting with them, Huntley said. After they got him in handcuffs, Reed told them that he had been drinking from a bottle of vodka with Stephen Jackson, 32, earlier in the day.
