PUEBLO, Colo.—The Pueblo City Council has given preliminary approval to a proposal to extend a moratorium on licensing medical marijuana dispensaries until June 1.
Council approved the proposed extension on first reading Monday night and will give the measure final consideration in two weeks.
City officials have said they hope state legislators will have approved some statewide regulations on how to license dispensaries by the summer.
