LINCOLN, Neb.—Nebraska middle blocker Brooke Delano (duh-LANE-oh) has been named a second-team All-American by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

The AVCA announced its All-America teams Wednesday.

Nebraska setter Sydney Anderson made the third team, and middle blocker Kori Cooper and outside hitter Hannah Werth received honorable mention.

Delano averaged better than two kills and one block a set in her first year as a starter. She ranked fifth in the Big 12 with her .339 hitting percentage and sixth in blocking.
