COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency says cyclist David Mock has accepted a three-month suspension after testing positive for a metabolite of marijuana.
But his period of ineligibility was slashed because he has since completed a USADA anti-doping educational program.
USADA said Thursday that a sample collected from Mock on Aug. 15 at the Yankee Clipper tested positive.
The 32-year-old’s period of ineligibility began Dec. 11, but it was reduced from three months to time served after he completed USADA’s anti-doping educational program Thursday.
He was disqualified from competitive results from Aug. 15 through Thursday.
