Police are seeking the public’s help in finding an armed couple who fired shots during a robbery at a Wal-Mart.

On Tuesday a Wal—Mart in Colorado Springs, at 8250 Razorback Road, was held up by a man and woman who armed with a 9mm handgun which was brandished and fired, according to a media release by the Colorado Springs Police Department.

Investigators believe the suspects in the armed Wal-Mart robbery are Jason Robert Lopez and Carmen Angela Quintana. A warrant has been issued for their arrests.

Lopez, 38, is described by police as a Hispanic man, about 5-feet 11-inches tall and 180 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Quintana, 37, also known as Carmen Angela Knowles, is described as a Hispanic woman, about 5-feet 2-inches tall and about 135-pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

Lopez has a lengthy arrest history including aggravated robbery, kidnapping, weapons violations and drug related offenses, police said.

The pair may be driving a red, early ’90s Pontiac Grand Prix or Grand Am with a Colorado temporary license tag in the rear window.

They are considered armed and dangerous, police said.
