Getting a first look at these paired homes now rather than later could be important, according to Elitia Schwaderer, who’ll be on site today and who already has five contracts on K.B. Home’s first 19 sites for Open Series plans. At prices from only $204,995 for a home that has 2-car attached garage and a nice side yard with an 18-foot patio, these can bring in monthly mortgage payments that are no more than what people pay to rent apartments in Stapleton’s popular neighborhoods.
That thought put Schwaderer on the road to surrounding rentals, showing residents the price comparison and turning up those five sales before the models were done. Today the models are ready to view including an 1159-plan, with a wide open main level that shows an island kitchen and finishes pretty close to what you’ll get at the base price along with a couple of popular options like a gas fireplace, and an expansion flex-space over the garage that adds another 186 feet for a study-loft, for $5,610 more.
“We’re giving buyers the freedom to personalize their home to fit their own unique style and budget…a custom home experience at an affordable price,” says Rusty Crandall, president of K.B. Home Colorado. Each of the models has flex options that are remarkably low in cost-per-foot (on the largest “1667 plan” you can take it to 2,000 square feet).
Schwaderer will show you how the pricing for these comes in compared to other Stapleton builders. In short, you can buy a new condo for less, but for something that offers side yard privacy for barbecuing or relaxing, you can’t beat this. You’ll also see the neighborhood that K.B. Home has as part of the package…across from four tennis courts and a dog park, close to where the Parade of Homes was held, and walking distance to shopping and all of the dining at Town Center.
