Even in a year when the Denver area is ranked “Best City to Buy a Home” in the entire country, people have worries about doing just that. This afternoon you can assuage your fears at a barbecue featuring burgers and fries by chef Robert Meitzer of Belgian Fry Company…prepared alongside the resort-style pool and clubhouse at Vantage Pointe, near Flatiron Crossing.
“Even here, people are worried about maintaining value,” says Matt McNeill, who’ll be on hand to show you Vantage Pointe’s ten furnished model flats and ‘townes,’ including some that can be ready for move in soon. Prices at Vantage Pointe, where sales have moved at a steady clip (75 percent sold out and making plans for a new phase of townhomes later this year) are discounted across the board–as much as $20,000, even $30,000 off some luxury flats (from the $160s) and super-spacious ‘townes.’
But Vantage Pointe is willing to do more than that to give buyers confidence to move ahead…including some ‘buyer confidence’ programs to address any specific worries. Even with all of the good things headed for the Boulder Turnpike corridor (including the ConocoPhillips center coming directly across from Vantage Pointe), a buyer may still worry about losing a job. So…if you like the price of a dual master-suite penthouse flat you’ll see today (1,339 feet at just $225,000 after the discount) you can opt for a program that could pay your mortgage for up to six months, if you lose your primary income.
McNeill and Damian Donahue will show you a second plan that will guarantee you a check back if a similar home at Vantage Pointe sells new for less money in coming years. “I know that if I paid $181,000 and you sell another for $175,000, I get a check,” said a new buyer who works 15 minutes away in Denver, who’s taking advantage.
“We feel very confident in our pricing,” adds McNeill. “That’s why we’re willing to do it.” You can also see the lifestyle amenities that draw buyers here: pool, spa, fitness center, and well appointed clubhouse, where residents use the wireless and Starbucks machine…plus the great access to trails, including nearby Carolyn Holmberg Preserve.
Barbecue at the pool runs noon-to-3, just north of 36 on Storage Tek Drive/Northwest Parkway. Watch for the banner.
