ORLANDO, Fla.—The Powerball jackpot was expected to grow to an estimated $76 million for Wednesday since no one matched all six of the numbers drawn over the weekend, the Multi-State Lottery Association said.
The winning numbers Saturday were 15, 16, 20, 42, and 53. The Powerball was 17 and the Power Play was 2.
Players matching all five numbers and the Powerball will share the $65 million jackpot.
A Power Play ticket sold in Indiana matched the first five numbers only to win $1 million. The top prize in Colorado was $200 each for 32 Power Play tickets that matched other number combinations, Colorado Lottery officials said.
Powerball was created in 1992 and launched in Colorado in 2001.
The game is now played in 31 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
