Louis Lopez, 27, was charged today with numerous counts of sexual assault in connection with encounters with a 13-year-old girl last year.
Lopez allegedly assaulted the victim between July and November “at times while she was in his care,” according to the Denver District Attorney’s office.
Lopez is in the Denver County Jail on a $100,000 bond. He faces felony counts of sexual assault on a child, sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust, and sexual assault on a child with a pattern of abuse.
