DENVER—Denver police say a person who was on Interstate 25 was struck and killed by a semi-truck.
The accident that happened at about 2 p.m. Wednesday has closed the northbound lanes of the highway at Colfax Avenue while police and emergency crews are on the scene. The person was struck near West 8th Avenue.
The person’s name or gender have not been released. It’s unknown what the pedestrian was doing on the highway.
