CASTLE ROCK, Colo.—Douglas County authorities are looking for children who may have come into contact with a former volunteer youth minister accused of having a sexual relationship with a child at his church.
Police say 45-year-old William “Bill” McLaughlin had a sexual relationship with a child at Denver Church of Christ. The age and gender of the child weren’t announced.
McLaughlin was charged with sexual assault on a child late last year and is being held in lieu of $500,000 bond.
Douglas County sheriff’s office says McLaughlin may have worked with children at other churches and is asking the public for help locating other possible victims.
