Dressed to the Nines
Through March 7: Dressed to the Nines provides prom dresses for young women in the metro area. Donated formal wear is cleaned by Dependable Cleaners and then sold to students for a nominal fee. All proceeds from this event benefit the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children’s Hospital. Dresses may be dropped off any of the 30 Dependable Cleaners locations. The third annual Dressed to the Nines event is scheduled 10 a.m.-3 p.m. March 13 at McMeen Elementary School, 1000 S. Holly St. Dresses that are not sold will be donated to Round-Up River Ranch and Camp Wapiyapi, camps for children with life-threatening illnesses, for dress-up activities. ,
