Hundreds of items authorities believe were stolen during a 12-month crime spree have been recovered by the Commerce City Police Department at a Commerce City residence.
Police believe more than 600 stolen items recovered in the 7100 block of East 69th Avenue were stolen between January 2009 and January 6, 2010 when the suspects in the case were arrested.
Gold, jewelry, electronics, DVDs, weapons and coin collections were among the items recovered from the home.
The items were taken from burglaries and car break-ins, according to investigators. So far, authorities have identified some of the stolen property as having been taken in Denver, Commerce City, Thornton, Broomfield and Westminster.
Commerce City police said they would like to return the valuables to their owners.
Anyone who has been a victim to a theft or burglary during the past year is encouraged to view the photographs posted online and contact the Commerce City police at 303-289-3626. Proof of ownership must be provided.
