ORLANDO, Fla.—The Powerball jackpot was expected to grow to an estimated $40 million for Wednesday since no one matched all six of the numbers drawn over the weekend, the Multi-State Lottery Association said.
The winning numbers on Saturday were 10, 14, 30, 40 and 51. The Powerball was 1 and the Power Play was 4.
A Power Play ticket sold in Wisconsin matched the first five numbers only to win $1 million. The top prize in Colorado was $10,000 for a ticket that matched the Powerball, plus four of the other numbers, Colorado Lottery officials said.
Powerball was created in 1992 and launched in Colorado in 2001.
The game is now played in 41 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
