Happy Birthday, Abe Vigoda
Though best-known as the grouchy, wisecracking Detective Fish from television’s “Barney Miller” (and the one-season spin-off, “Fish”), we had our most recent glimpse of Abe Vigoda in a Snickers ad that ran during the Super Bowl. Here’s to the 89-year-old.
Thirsty Fish
Makes 1 drink.
Ingredients
2 ounces bourbon
1 dash bitters (preferably Peychaud’s)
7-up to fill
Orange peel or wedge for garnish
Directions
Place a few ice cubes in a highball glass. Add bourbon and bitters and stir. Fill with 7-up. Garnish with orange peel or wedge.
