Denver police fired at a suspected stolen car as it allegedly raced toward an officer Sunday, and later a man with a gunshot wound walked into Exempla St. Joseph Hospital.
The man has not been named. Denver police spokesman Sonny Jackson said the man is suspected of involvement in the shooting, at Federal Boulevard and Ellsworth Avenue.
Police were looking for a stolen car when they spotted a car outside a liquor store. As police approached, the driver raced toward the officers, who opened fire.
At 6:59 p.m., a man arrived at St. Joseph. He was transferred to Denver Health Medical Center. The Denver Post
