Crosby, Stills & Nash fans have rested comfortably with the knowledge that if the band members are still kicking — and four decades on, they most certainly are — they’ll at least make a Colorado stop each year. 2010 is no different as the iconic folk- rockers return to Red Rocks Amphitheatre for a June 2 show, with tickets on sale at 10 a.m. today. ($49.50-$101.50, Ticketmaster)

Phish in Telluride? It just might happen. As Denver Post pop music critic Ricardo Baca first reported on our Reverb blog earlier this week, the town has approved the use of Telluride’s Town Park for the proposed Aug. 9-10 shows. Check back here or for the latest updates.

Foreigner and Styx will co-headline the “United in Rock” tour, also stopping by Red Rocks this spring, with opener Kansas. Exhaustive in their radio domination during their ’70s and ’80s heydays, the bands are sure to attract nostalgic boomers and younger crowds with an appreciation of soaring (and excruciatingly earnest) arena rock. Tickets for the May 30 concert are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. ($36.50-$76.50, Ticketmaster)

REO Speedwagon and Joan Jett — an odd pairing if ever there was one — will continue the nostalgia train at Red Rocks with a July 21 show. Check back here or for the latest on-sale information.

Pavement’s international reunion tour is a no-brainer, considering the current hunger for ’90s indie rock and this week’s release of the greatest-hits collection “Quarantine the Past.” Still, the band’s Sept. 9 U.S. tour kickoff at Broomfield’s 1stBank Center promises to sell out since we haven’t heard songs like “Range Life” or “Serpentine Pad” performed live in over a decade — if ever. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. today. ($30, TicketHorse)

Gov’t Mule, another big-draw roots-rock act that recently graced the Front Range, will return to Red Rocks for a Sept. 4 show with folk- pop upstarts the Avett Brothers and Truth & Salvage Co. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. today. ($39.50-$44.75, Ticketmaster)

George Clinton & Parliament/Funkadelic will headline the Snowmass Chili Pepper & Brew Fest on June 5, promoters announced this week, with legendary reggae act the Wailers as an opener. Tickets for the annual mountain party are on sale at 10 a.m. Monday. ($25-$80, )

The Comedians of “Chelsea Lately,” Chelsea Handler’s salty late-night talk show on E! will visit the Fillmore Auditorium on April 30 for a night of stand-up comedy. Tickets for the show, featuring Jo Koy, Jen Kirkman, the Sklar Brothers and Chuy, are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. ($30-$35, )
