A man killed by a train on the Colorado State University campus Friday has been identified as Mark Kriebel, 52, of Fort Collins, and his death was by suicide, according to the Larimer County coroner’s office.
The train struck Kriebel near Old Main Street and Mason Street, about a block south of Laurel Street.
Kriebel was a former CSU student and had earned master’s degrees in math and physics, authorities said.
