LANSING, Mich. — The Democratic governors of Colorado, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Washington state have sent a letter to the U.S. attorney general saying they oppose the lawsuit their attorneys general filed against the federal health care law.

Thirteen attorneys general are involved in the lawsuit questioning the law’s constitutionality. Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter, Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm, Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell and Washington Gov. Christine Gregoire said in Friday’s letter that they think the legal challenge will fail.
