COLORADO SPRINGS — A Colorado Springs couple has been busted for baking, and trying to sell, marijuana- laced cookies labeled “Canookies,” police said.
Jessie and Alisha Vriese, both 27, were arrested on suspicion of marijuana distribution.
Police said Jessie Vriese gave a business card and free samples of cookies baked with “Cannabutter,” marijuana melded with butter, to a store clerk.
