A 41-year-old former private soccer coach accused of having sex with a teen student in Jefferson County was sentenced to two years in jail and 10 years to life on intensive supervised probation for sex offenders.
Delbert Wallace Stiewert pleaded guilty to sexual assault of a child. He was arrested last year when the former student told police he sexually assaulted her in 2005 and 2006, when she was 13 and 14 years old.
