Team Conan says Conan O’Brien is looking for the perfect comeback gig but that hosting the Tonys just wasn’t it.

O’Brien was offered a chance to host the Tony Awards this year, but according to Deadline Hollywood, Conan had to decline due to his strict contract that’s still in place with NBC.

But the contract is only in place until May 1, and the Tonys show is June 13. A source says, “So he totally could have hosted the Tony’s. More likely, he didn’t want to do it, and used his agreement with NBC as an excuse to say no.”

But Conan’s reps said, “He can do interviews but can’t perform. He also can’t speak freely about NBC, which kind of kills his doing things in the way he’d want.”

NBC said, “The severance agreement gives Conan the explicit right to do hosting gigs after May 1, And if he wanted to ‘speak freely about NBC’, he shouldn’t have accepted NBC’s over $40 mill payoff.”

Modeling agencies ‘hated’ Raquel Welch’s body when she first approached them for jobs, the legendary pin-up reveals in a new book.

Welch, 69, said people branded her figure far from perfect after she moved to Los Angeles in the early ’60s to try to make it as a movie star.

‘When I tried to do some modeling after I first came to LA – just to get a job – they hated my body. Everything was wrong,’ she told Oprah Winfrey.

But the star of “One Million Years B.C.,” the role that made her famous, said their view changed when she was thrust – somewhat reluctantly – into sex symbol status.

‘I had no idea that was the path I was going to be going in when I started my career, because I wanted to be an actress,’ said Welch, who has written an autobiography titled “Beyond The Cleavage.”

‘When I came to Hollywood I was actually the mother of two small children already and I wanted to be taken seriously.

‘(Having kids) wasn’t common knowledge, it wasn’t something I paraded around a lot.’

At age 18, she married her high school sweetheart James Welch in 1959 – whom she would divorce five years later.

The couple’s two children are Damon (born in 1960) and Tahnee (born in 1961).

The Hooters restaurant in Augusta, Ga., is not missing a golden opportunity to capitalize on the Tiger Woods scandal.

The chain, fronted by scantily clad waitresses, is throwing a week-long, golf-themed celebration seconds from where the Masters tournament will be held next week, TMZ reports.

The women of Hooters also will be holding a bikini competition right down the street when Woods tees up at the Masters.

The activities reportedly include a putting competition and a long-drive contest and a “Par 3” bikini contest.
