Western Union Co. chief executive Christina Gold received a total compensation package valued at about $8.1 million in 2009, more than 3 1/2 times her pay from the previous year, according to Associated Press calculations of data filed with regulators Tuesday.
Gold, who has served as president and CEO of the Douglas County-based payment-services company since September 2006, received a compensation package valued at $2.2 million in 2008.
