Senate candidate Jane Norton raised $816,000 in the first three months of the year — 48 percent more than the $550,605 she raised in the final quarter of 2009.
Norton is the first of the Republicans seeking to unseat Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet to release fundraising figures. She has raised nearly $1.9 million since entering the race in September. First-quarter reports must be filed with the Federal Election Commission by April 15.
