A Greeley teenager too young to legally drive was arrested Tuesday for selling guns, bullet-proof vests and cocaine to undercover officers over an eight-month investigation.
The 15-year-old boy, who was packing a pistol at the time of his arrest, was not named because of his age. The investigation was conducted by the Weld County Drug Task Force and the North Colorado Drug Task Force.
A search of his home in the 2400 block of 24th Street in Greeley yielded gang and drug paraphernalia, as well as a 9mm pistol, Greeley police said.
The teen faces three counts of drug distribution, three counts conspiracy to distribute drugs, possession of a handgun by juvenile offender and possession of a dangerous weapon.
He also faces two “special offender” charges, one for bringing a weapon to a drug deal and another that alleges he sold drugs near a school, police said.
