DENVER—Spicy Pickle Franchising Inc. has named restaurant industry executive Mark Laramie as its new chief executive officer.
Marc Geman had been president and chief executive officer of Spicy Pickle, but the company is splitting those roles. Geman will remain president.
Denver-based Spicy Pickle Franchising Inc. operates the Spicy Pickle fast-casual chain in the U.S. and Bread Garden Urban Cafe in Canada.
Laramie is 59. He previously was chief executive officer and chairman of Pinnacle Restaurant Group and FranExecs Consulting Group. He also has held executive positions with Papa Murphy’s International, Little Caesars Enterprises Inc. and Quiznos Classic Subs.
The company said Wednesday that Laramie would receive a $225,000 salary.
