FORT CARSON — Two Fort Carson soldiers have been killed overseas.
Military officials say Sgt. Michael K. Ingram Jr., 23, of Monroe, Mich., died Saturday in Kandahar, Afghanistan, when an explosive device detonated near him. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division.
Pfc. Charlie Antonio, 28, of Kahului, Hawaii, died Sunday in Annassar, Iraq, of injuries from a noncombat incident. Antonio was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division.
