Widespread Panic is both a band and a hint of what will happen when fans fail to get tickets to Widespread’s annual summer run at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Sure, thousands of the jam band’s acolytes will have a chance to catch the group during its June 25-27 shows, but it’s also a sure bet those shows will sell out almost instantly when they go on sale May 1. Tickets are $43, plus a city parking fee and service charges. (Ticketmaster)

B.B. King’s Blues Fest returns to Red Rocks with another performance from its tireless namesake, plus opening sets from the similarly fired-up soul singer Al Green and blues singer- guitarist Buddy Guy. Tickets for the Aug. 25 concert are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. ($49- $89, Ticketmaster)

Jerry Seinfeld’s NBC reality debacle “The Marriage Ref” has proven to be a black mark on the veteran comedian’s once-spotless record, but fortunately Seinfeld realizes the strength of his stand-up enough to keep touring. He returns for a show at the Buell Theatre on June 12, with tickets on sale at 10 a.m. today. ($45-$75.50, Ticketmaster)

Rodrigo y Gabriela, the Mexican guitar duo renowned for their technical mastery and playful songs, have ascended to a headlining gig at Red Rocks after years of steadily playing larger and larger clubs. Tickets for the Aug. 20 show with Xavier Rudd and Izintaba are on sale at 10 a.m. today. ($39.75-$49.75, Ticketmaster)

Paramore’s Honda Civic tour is swinging back through Colorado as part of its lengthy 2010 world tour — including a Sept. 13 show at Red Rocks. Tickets for the emo-punk band’s set with openers Tegan and Sara are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. ($26-$36, Ticketmaster)

Rush added a second show to its existing Aug. 16 stop at Red Rocks to play the 1980 album “Moving Pictures.” Good thing, too, as message boards show that some fans are coming from as far away as England for the privilege of seeing the album played live at the majestic amphitheater. Tickets for the new Aug. 18 “Time Machine” tour date are on sale. ($55.50- $110.50, Ticketmaster)

Vicente Fernández is a superstar in his native Mexico for his decades of albums and films, but “Chente” is lesser known to English-speaking audiences. That won’t stop him from playing the Pepsi Center on July 30, with opener Edith Marquez. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. today. ($29.50-$125.50, TicketHorse)

The Hold Steady returns to the Ogden Theatre on July 7 to push its new album, “Heaven Is Whenever,” set to be released May 4. Tickets for the show, with openers the Whigs, are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. ($20, Ticketmaster)
