The victim of a fatal traffic accident near Kittredge was identified this morning as a 77-year-old local woman.
Wanda Dudding, of Indian Hills, died Wednesday in a head-on crash at 3761 Myers Gulch Road in Jefferson County, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
Dudding was driving a Subaru sedan at about 1:55 p.m. when the accident happened. She was alone in the car.
Kimberly Taylor, 33, of Evergreen, was driving an SUV that was involved in the collision. She suffered minor injuries. Two children in the SUV were properly restrained and were not injured, the CSP said.
A preliminary investigation indicates the SUV crossed into an oncoming lane before it collided with the Subaru. The investigation is ongoing.
