A man who died after being hit by an SUV early Sunday morning was identified today.
James Gallion, 28, died of blunt force injuries to his head and chest, according to the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner.
At about 2 a.m. Sunday Gallion was walking on I-25 near 8th Avenue when he was hit by a GMC Jimmy.
Gallion was using a cellphone when he was hit, according to police.
The driver of the SUV has not been identified and the fatal accident remains under investigation.
