An 18-year-old woman has been arrested for allegedly slashing the face of another woman in an apparent dispute over a man.

Carriel Mackey was arrested about 1 a.m. today at her home, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department crime blotter.

Mackey is suspected of slashing the face of a 20-year-old woman after they “agreed to meet and settle their differences” about a man they were “involved with,” police said.

“During this meeting Mackey produced a sharp object and cut (the victim’s) face multiple times,” police said.

Graham was treated at Memorial Central Hospital for lacerations and received multiple stitches, police said.

The alleged assault took place at about 5 p.m. Sunday in the 3000 block of South Powers Boulevard, police said.

Mackey was booked into the El Paso County Jail on suspicion of first-degree assault.
