Getting your player ready...

For a player who didn’t even participate in a preseason play for them last year, the Broncos sure like what they saw in Nick Greisen.

The veteran linebacker has re-signed with the Broncos after missing all of last season with a knee injury. Greisen, 30 played seven NFL seasons with the New York Giants, Jacksonville and Baltimore before signing with the Broncos last year and then suffering a season-ending knee out his knee early in training camp last year.

The Broncos could have released Greisen with an injury settlement, but instead put him on injured reserve and rehabilitated his injury with the idea of bringing him back for 2010.

A run-stuffer as a linebacker, Greisen is considered a superb special teams player.
