LOUISVILLE — lacrosse coach David Auday took an unconventional approach to senior night on Thursday against rival . It started a day earlier.
Auday didn’t like what he was seeing on the practice field Wednesday as his team prepared for its final regular-season home game after a strong performance and victory earlier in the week. He said his Coyotes practiced “like dogs” and he didn`t mean it as a compliment.
So instead of gathering his players and giving them a pep talk, he kicked them off the field and sent them home to think about it. They returned more than ready Thursday and trounced a young Alexander Dawson team .
