GUNNISON, Colo.—A former captain at the Gunnison County jail has been convicted of perjury and official misconduct.

Michelle Zadra was charged last year along with former jail Sgt. Melissa Rogers, inmate Joseph Stromayer, his then-wife, Rachel Stromayer, and his new wife, former Deputy Tawnya Sponable, after allegations surfaced of inappropriate relationships between Joseph Stromayer and jail employees.

Zadra was accused of listening in on privileged conversations between Joseph Stromayer and his attorney, then lying about it in court. Jurors convicted Zadra last week of nine felony counts of perjury and three misdemeanor counts of official misconduct.
