SEOUL, South Korea — A news report said North Korean leader Kim Jong Il’s personal train has crossed the border into China, indicating that Kim may have begun a much-speculated trip there.
Yonhap news agency cites unidentified sources as saying Kim’s train entered the Chinese border town of Dandong early today. Kim’s visit to China could mean North Korea’s return to dormant China-hosted international disarmament talks on its nuclear program.
