DENVER—The Colorado House has killed a bill that would have required annual review of millions of dollars in tax credits.
The proposal was killed Tuesday.
House Majority Leader Paul Weissmann, a Democrat from Louisville who sponsored the bill, says lawmakers should review the tax credits to see if they’re working.
Republicans saying it would put too much of a burden on businesses.
The state offers credits and exemptions on the severance tax, fuel tax, alcohol tax, income tax and sales and use taxes.
