A person was shot in the leg this afternoon in a drive-by shooting in northeast Denver.
The shooting happened at about 1:10 p.m. on East 33rd Avenue between Hudson and Holly streets, said Sonny Jackson, a Denver Police Department spokesman.
The person hit by the gunfire was taken to Denver Health Medical Center.
The injuries are likely not life-threatening, Jackson said.
Police are looking for a black, or dark, SUV, possibly a GMC Yukon, with tinted windows.
