She should have seen it coming. Lafayette police today arrested a 52-year-old woman accused of being a bad psychic.
Nancy Marks allegedly fleeced her clients of money through her business, Psychic Readings and Spiritual Counseling at 707 S. Public Road in Lafayette.
Lafayette police investigated after a number of complaints by Marks’ former clients, including that she solicited large amounts of money as part of her psychic services.
She currently facing two counts of theft of more than $20,000 and on count of criminal impersonation. She is being held in the Boulder County Jail on $250,000 bond.
Policing are looking for more potential victims. Anyone who may have given Marks money based on her readings can call Detective Sergeant Brian Rosipajla at 303-665-5571.
Marks uses several aliases, police said, and records show she often uses the name Dorothy Marks.
