The Tennyson Center for Children’s Walk of Faith 2010 will be at 10 a.m. Saturday to raise funds and promote awareness of children’s issues, especially abuse and neglect. The event includes “inspiration stations,” where people of all faiths can pray or meditate.
Registration for the 5K walk is at 9 a.m. The event begins at the center’s campus, 2950 Tennyson St. The route wends through the West Highland and Sloan’s Lake neighborhoods. A celebration and awards ceremony follows.
There is no cost to attend the event; however, participants who raise at least $50 are eligible to receive a “Walk of Faith” T-shirt. Register online at .
