DENVER—Gov. Bill Ritter will speak about Colorado’s efforts to promote renewable energy when he travels to Dallas for the American Wind Energy Association’s conference in Dallas.
Ritter is scheduled to take part in panel discussions at the conference Sunday and Monday. He’ll join governors from Iowa and Ohio during the opening session Monday in a discussion of the role of renewable energy in creating jobs and federal policies that can help.
Ritter will discuss Colorado’s “new energy economy” in another session Monday. The Democrat has stressed attracting clean-energy companies to Colorado and encouraging development of technologies to boost the economy.
