Partly cloudy skies will bring a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms to kick off Memorial Day weekend weather in Denver, but skies should be sunny on Sunday and mostly sunny on Monday.
This afternoon it will be hot in Denver, the hottest day of the year so far, with temperatures in the city topping out at about 93 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Winds this afternoon could gust to 26 mph and there is a slight chance – 10 percent – of showers or thunderstorms after 2 p.m.
Tomorrow afternoon in Denver there will be a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms and the high temperature should hit about 84 degrees under partly cloudy skies, the weather service reports.
On Sunday skies should be sunny in Denver, with light breezes and a high temperature of 73 degrees.
Denver weather on Monday, Memorial Day, should be mostly sunny, according to the weather service, with a high temperature near 78 degrees.
