GRANBURY, Texas — A Parker man was killed and his wife injured when their single-engine experimental plane crashed as it approached a private airstrip.
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported that authorities identified the man as Michael A. Henney, 49, of Parker. His wife, Suzanne, 47, was listed in critical condition after the Friday afternoon crash in the town west of Fort Worth.
Witnesses told the paper that the plane was on approach to Pecan Plantation when it banked to the left and crashed nose first.
Federal authorities were investigating the cause of the crash.
