BOULDER, Colo.—U.S. marathoner Ryan Hall will be at the starting line for the Bolder Boulder 10-kilometer race Monday.

Instead of running, though, he will be signing autographs and offering tips.

The 27-year-old Hall is in town to promote Nissan’s Master the SHIFT program, which is a way for runners to access information from Hall to improve their own performances. He said the advice he’s dispensing are “the same for an elite runner or the first-time 10K runner.”

Hall, of Mammoth Lakes, Calif, ran in the Boston Marathon last month and finished in 2:08:41, the fastest time ever for a U.S. runner at that event.

His next big race will be the Chicago Marathon in October.
